We are Light Heroes!

If you are Christian, you are also a Hero of Light! It’s so good to remember how you came to trust God for His grace. I’m going to tell you a short version of my story and then with a grownup’s help or permission, you can tell me a short version of your testimony in the comments.

I actually got saved when I was still four years old, but almost five. I had heard my pastor talk about our need for salvation from sin for several weeks. He had offered for people to come up and pray with one the elders of our church, but I was afraid because I only saw big people coming. When I told my parents that I had been wanting to go they said excitedly, “Well then go child!” And I did. To this day, I can remember that if felt like a string was on my heart that the Father gently pulled to himself. I remember how the tall elder had to bend waaaay over to pray with me and the feel of his stiff shirt when he gave me a congratulatory hug. My life was never the same.
